Will the Magical Companions Expansion Package still be available after the first 48 hours?

Yes, but it will not be included in physical rewards free of charge. People will be able to add it to their orders as an add-on (both digital and physical options are available) or they will be able to buy it as part of other pledge tiers, like the Collector’s Edition.

If the VTT implementation is unlocked, what platforms will it be available for?

At the moment I have reached out to Foundry, Alchemy and Roll20. Unfortunately Roll20 isn’t an option for me because their payout options are not compatible with the ones I use. I’m currently looking at options with Foundry and I am awaiting a reply from Alchemy. If you would like to suggest any other VTT platform, please do not hesitate to leave a comment or reach out to me, and I’ll do my best to see if I can make it happen.

Why don't I see any physical add-ons available in the survey?

If you don’t see any physical add-ons available, it might be because of two reasons: 1- You have selected a digital reward tier. Some physical add-ons (prints and stickers) are not available for folks who selected a digital reward, as they need to be shipped with the card deck to make sure they have a rigid support during shipping. If you’d like to get those physical add-ons, you can switch to a physical tier of your choosing. 2- The add-ons might already be included in your cart. In the add-on selection page, you’ll also be able to check what is already included in your pledge level. Double check that, as the add-ons might already be listed there, depending on the tier you selected.

I'd like to purchase a portrait commission, but I don't see them available.

Portrait commissions are only available as add-ons for the campaign backers, not post-campaign clients who purchased from the shop. If you are a campaign backer and you still don’t see this option as an add-on, it might be because they are now out of stock, since only 12 were available. If you had selected the Artifact or Scroll tiers, the commission is already included in your tier and you will be prompted to provide commission information during the survey process.

If I select a Portrait Commission as an add-on, will my character be included in the deck?

No, that option was exclusive to the Artifact Edition tier during the campaign and it is no longer available. Backers who select a Portrait Commission add-on will only receive a digital file commission of the requested character.

By what date do I need to send my commission information?

October 15th. I know the survey question says September 15th, please disregard that. The surveys went out later than I expected and I wasn’t able to edit that date without having to further delay the surveys.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
